Linux is a Unix based OS. It have many different distros. One of them is Ubuntu. 

Ubuntu is an Open source OS. It is free, this means you can download 

on internet or receive from producer and setup without paying money. You also can copy and share with people.

When you use Ubuntu or any Linux distros, all software is free and you can install them on Ubuntu software center of download from internet.

With any Linux distros, you can change all proplems of them, as theme, source code, ... and you will fell comfotable and love it.

Although all is free, Ubuntu has a security very good, it is very safe and hasn't viruses.

With Linux and free software, we have a day, which is FOSS - Freeday Open Source Software. At this day, user if FOSS will come on any where to discus and share infomation with avry people about Open Source Software in year and future.

Ubuntu, as all linux systems, has very good security and it is very rare to find viruses that will infect it. As long as you don’t use it for hosting applications it is relatively safe and secure from normal Windows attacks.
